Take a Ride With Us

Whenever possible during our rides we try to incorporate a coffee stop at a local bar or café either before the ride our within the first hour or two, as well as lunch at a local restaurant. Our aim is to not only make your experience more enjoyable and help you see more of the local culture and cuisine, but also to help support local businesses and our community.
Our rides are all vehicle assisted Enduro rides, varying in length and difficulty, with rides spanning between 20km and 40km with anywhere between 350m and 1200m of ascent and 1500m to 2500m of descent. So, whether you’re looking for a high-altitude training week or a more relaxed holiday, we’ve got the trails for you. With over twenty-five years of exploratory knowledge in the area we prefer not to run a fixed itinerary, but rather plan your routes daily choosing from our vast route portfolio. This way we can consider the mood of the group, weather conditions, seasons etc.

FEEL IT

Plenty Of Trails

We have a wide range of trails to our disposal here on the southern side of Sierra Nevada, a lot of which are loose, dusty and rocky, with most of them being natural trails that have been used for hundreds of years, and now we get to enjoy them too!

They vary in difficulty, from smoother, flowier trails like “Teddy Bears Picnic” or “Barry Knows Best” to steeper, more technical trails such as “Sidewinder” or “Tourettes”. To get a better idea of the trails we ride, feel free to check out some of the videos by McTrail Rider and BKXC from their stays with us.

This mountain bike experience is right on the money! You have got it all - great trails, lunch stops/evening meals and top guiding. Mark even pays for the games of pool at the end of the day! Now I know nobody likes a show off, but that bakery roof jump was pretty good eh? Local folklore material I reckon!

1st time on the recommendation of the mountain maniacs .........What can I say.........what a top week! I can honestly say this has been the best biking I have ever had. Not only that but great hospitality and a great laugh with dangerous Dave, Mark jr, Mark snr, Jacky and Nats. We will be seeing you again.

These aren't just ascents. "These are lung busting challenges to breathtaking views across spectacular mountain ranges." This isn't just singletrack "This is sweet flowing adrenaline fuelled ecstasy along danger of death exposure." This isn't just food. "This is Jacky's sumptuos feast of food for the Gods and the righteous." This isn't just a biking holiday. "This is CICLOMONTANA."

If you are looking for an antidote to the rain soaked, soggy trails that characterise most of the UK at the moment - then look no further than the trail heaven that is the home of Ciclo Montana in Southern Spain. Based in the Alpujarras, Sierra Nevada, Marco, Jacky and their guiding team (Nicola, Steve & Matt) have been scouting trails since the early 90s and it’s safe to say that they really know their stuff! Steep, rocky, switchback descents; flat out, loose, speedway drifting – it’s all in a day’s riding with Ciclo Montana. We could rave on for pages about how amazing the riding and hospitality is with these guys, but let’s just say you need to get out there and experience it for yourself. A huge 'Thank you' from all the TF riders.
